Mid-Level Performance Tester

As a trusted partner to our client, we are looking to hire multiple Performance Testers for full time, permanent W2 salaried roles near Miami, Florida.  Some Relocation Assistance is Available.  No 3rd Party Candidates will be Considered.



This position is a mix of automated/manual testing.

  • Create, execute and manage test plans/test cases across the entire spectrum of quality assurance: exploratory tests, acceptance tests, functional tests, regression tests, smoke tests, usability tests, performance tests, etc.
  • Perform black box and/or white box testing as needed.
  • Ability to translate technical requirements and specifications into deliverable test cases/scripts and analyze logs.
  • Write automated selenium and API scripts.
  • Communicate quality issues and risks to the software development teams and technical leaders.
  • Work with multiple application development, architecture and network teams, identifies, diagnoses, and reports on application issues.
  • Assist with creating and performing repeatable testing procedures and processes.
  • Define regression cases and make suggestions for automation.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to Developers on software usability and functionality.
  • Analyze requirements (user stories and acceptance criteria).
  • Detail preliminary set of tasks for each User Story.


Requested Experience:

  • Mid-level familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and objectives
  • A product-centric mindset and the ability to ask questions in order to improve the product, not only in its technical implementation but also in how well it is serving the needs of our customers
  • Ability to translate technical requirements and specifications into deliverable test cases/scripts and analyze logs.
  • Keen ability to Identify and anticipate problems and solutions.
  • Ability to learn and implement new technologies and processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to create technical documentation describing proposed functionalities and story test.
  • Familiarity with databases and knowledge of SQL.
  • Ability to write basic code in languages like Java or Python.
  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, plus a variety of other word-processing, spreadsheet, database, e-mail and presentation software.
  • Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally and nationwide up to 10% of the time.
  • Please note Performance Testing is a must have in most cases.


Must Have Experience:

  1. Java
  2. Selenium or Selenium Web driver
  3. Performance Testing Tool (JMeter, LoadRunner or other similar)
  4. Automation Experience
  5. Database Experience
  6. API /White Box Test Strategy
  7. DevOps
  8. Knowledge of Jenkins
