As a trusted partner to our client, Converge Technology Solutions is looking to hire multiple Lead/Senior Software Engineers with an emphasis in Java for full time, permanent roles in Atlanta, GA.  Our client is a global leader in the financial services industry.  Though this organization is financially stable with a long tenure of success, the office environment is considered innovation ready and entrepreneurial.  The team will be responsible for the next generation of products and technologies enabling this financial powerhouse to continue providing top notch financial services.

In this role, you will engineer and implement highly available and scalable systems within the enterprise such as performance calculators, workflow management systems, user facing applications and more.  You will be working primarily in Java, but a variety of languages will be utilized for better product quality.

Requested Experience:

• Experience utilizing object-oriented programming experience in Java to design and implement robust, scalable, and sustainable platform.
• Experience in relational database development including SQL, stored procedures, and data modeling.
• Experience with object-oriented scripting design and development, preferably utilizing Perl.
• Experience or proficiency in UNIX including Ksh, Bash, Shell Script.
• Experience developing interactive web applications.
• Agile experience.
