As a trusted partner to our client, Corus360 is looking to hire a IT Support Technician for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity near Wayne, NJ. This position will provide IT support to the Wayne office, as well as support for the corporate headquarters in NYC, a call center in Boston, MA and additional corporate offices in Cary, NC.
Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt and efficient resolutions to Helpdesk tickets covering the technologies and systems including:
- Windows 10
- HP Laptop and desktop hardware
- Windows Imaging
- Active Directory
- Personal and departmental printers
- Corporate email systems (Exchange and Zimbra)
- Basic MAC Support
- Remote Access VPN
- Websites and Web Applications
- Microsoft Office 365
- Provision hardware to new employees, conduct system upgrades, and carry out break/fix/replacement work
- Update the Asset Inventory System with hardware and software details per our documented processes
- Assist and train employees on the use of approved corporate technologies and systems
- Provide in-person and remote technical support to our employees
- Work closely with the DevOps and Security teams to ensure all systems are functioning properly, including assisting with server-side software support and upgrades.
- Participate in projects for upgrades, enhancements, cyber security controls implementation, and new services
- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation providing weekend and evening support
Requested Experience Needed:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting, deploying and maintaining desktop computer systems, network printers, and other devices
- At least 5 years of experience supporting, configuration, patching and upgrading Microsoft products and other business productivity applications in a corporate environment
- Experience managing active directory, Microsoft Office365, and Exchange
- A solid understanding of fundamental networking principles
- A working knowledge of essential network protocols, including TCP, UDP, and NetBIOS
- Experience identifying, researching, and removing malware in a corporate IT desktop support role
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience working with ticketing, CMDB, and asset management systems and ITIL principles
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and complete work within allotted time frames
- Self-motivated and quick learner – able to learn new skills quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing on premise or cloud-based communication and collaboration systems and VOIP phones a plus
You will work in an open, casual office environment and work a standard 40 hours a week. Evening and weekend work is necessary at times to meet for special projects or to resolve specific problems. Travel to Manhattan, Boston or Cary is possible.
