As a trusted partner to our client in Arlington, Virginia, we are looking to hire a full-time, permanent SAP Functional Architect to join their Information Technology team. You will report to the Vice President, Applications and provide functional support and usage and configuration assistance primarily to our Finance and Accounting group, as well as other SAP Business Users.  This role will be an in-office role located in Arlington, VA.

 

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will act as the Technical or Functional lead on at least 1 full-lifecycle SAP implementation

  • Solid understanding of the SAP ASAP methodology framework
  • Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers
  • Greenfield implementation experience
  • S/4 HANA FICO experience

 

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, responsible for SAP S4/HANA FICO implementation and support services.
  • Should possess strong exposure in FICO, & ERP cross module integration, and have Strong hands-on experience.
  • Experience in USGAAP compliance and other financial reporting.
  • Individual must have strong knowledge in GL, AR/AP, Asset management, Controlling, Bank & Cash.
  • Handle comprehensive FICO configuration that is required for the company and for the effective performing of FICO module.
  • Should have strong knowledge and understanding in Management reporting.
  • Should be well versed with Taxation scenarios (Direct & Indirect Tax)
  • Experience in Project Systems and Plant Maintenance would an added advantage.
  • Experience in design and Configuring the business process in SAP FICO.
  • Having knowledge like PI/PO is value addition.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge on Collecting and Managing the Master data and Data integration with different ERP systems.
  • Coordinating between the business stakeholders and the Support/deployment teams and responsible for obtaining the 'go' decisions from the business before the new system processes/changes are rolled out.
  • Experience in Construction Project related procurement processes.
  • Changes in configuration based on requirements of client with change in business processes if required.
  • Clear understanding of integration topics with other SAP modules.
  • Leading and managing end to end solution as well as project delivery SAP solutions.
  • Experience managing resources and specifically working with offshore teams.
  • Proven expertise managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Basic understanding of ITIL & SDLC Process.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Master's degree preferred.
