RPG Programmer Analyst

As a trusted partner, Converge Technology Solutions is helping to identify, screen and secure an EDI Programmer/Analyst for a full-time, permanent opening in Duluth, GA.  Due to company precautions due to Covid-19, this position will be a hybrid onsite / remote role.

 

General Responsibilities

  • Design, code, and test program enhancements to EDI related applications and interfaces.
  • Monitor automated EDI jobs and ensure successful integration of data to interface and application files
  • Report EDI integration issues, troubleshoot and recommend problem resolution to EDI Team Lead
  • Monitor and resolve helpdesk tickets related to EDI order processing issues
  • Develop and maintain UCC128 compliant barcode labels using Barcode400
  • Assist with the setup, mapping, and testing of new trading partnerships as needed
  • Develop and maintain EDI documentation and training guides

 

Requested Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience developing programs in an IBM AS400 Environment using RPGILE and CL.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with JD Edwards Order to Cash and Procure to Pay applications.
  • Working knowledge of EDI translation software packages (Experience with Trusted Link V6.1 or higher preferred)
  • Solid understanding of ANSI X-12 EDI standards
  • General knowledge of communication standards (including FTP, SFTP, and AS2)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be flexible to changing priorities and business needs
  • Experience with Microsoft teams preferred
