As a trusted partner, Converge Technology Solutions is helping to screen, secure and hire a Business Analyst to work with our client in Marietta, GA. This will be a hybrid onsite / remote position, so you should be comfortable being onsite 2-3 days a week. The client has made all the necessary precautions to make the environment safe for all its employees.
You will be part of the team responsible for the configuration and installation of retail systems relating to Point of Sale within its brand of store. You will also support the implementation and maintenance of POS systems, software, and hardware at various locations.
Responsibilities:
- Implements new systems, software, and hardware applications relating to the POS for retail store locations.
- Carries out preliminarily testing and configuration procedures of updated and new retail store systems.
- Supports the implementation of retail systems for various projects, including staging, configuration, and installation processes.
- Assists internal departments with the development and implementation of systems relating to POS retail operations as needed.
- Recommends, schedules, and performs PC hardware and peripheral equipment improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
- Documents project plans, business requirements, functional diagrams, test scripts, and troubleshooting guides.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years professional experience in hardware/software/infrastructure troubleshooting is preferred
- Agile experience is required
- Experience working in a retail environment a plus
