As a trusted partner, Converge Technology Solutions is helping our client identify, screen and secure an Technical Support Specialist to join our client in Aurora, NC.  This is an onsite position, Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week.

You will be responsible for performing software/hardware installations and support, troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office issues, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of all types of computers and peripheral hardware including: PCs, Laptops and docking stations, monitors, printers and network cabling etc. Light administrative duties and errands will also be required. This position will provide overall support to the IT department.

Responsibilities

  • Customer service and hands on practical experience with MS Windows 10, MS Office;
  • Assist with the disposal of unneeded PC and printer equipment
  • Capacity to provide PC, tablet, and systems support (including printer and Smart Phone) in a timely and thorough manner;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, an aptitude for problem solving, and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to accept assignments and special projects as needed;
  • Ability to take direction while working under tight deadlines;
  • Position will require physical activity, including lifting computers, monitors, and printers;
