As a trusted partner, Converge Technology Solutions is helping our client identify, screen and secure a Senior Performance Engineer (LoadRunner/TruClient) to join their team as a full-time consultant on a contract to hire basis.  This is a 100% remote position with possible travel to Florida (only as needed). 

 

In this role, you will be using LoadRunner to conduct performance testing and you’ll be producing high-quality, timeless scripts, scenario’s, and results for multiple concurrent projects. You will implement strategic technical advances to improve the team’s efficiency and throughput, as well as develop and execute manual and automated test plans to ensure systems are working per the detailed requirements.  

 

Additionally, you should be able to evaluate project specifications and translate the specifications into a test plan.  You’ll frequently partner with application developers, business users and other members of quality assurance, as well as facilitate the standardization of automation scripting procedures within the enterprise. You should be comfortable owning the creation and ongoing maintenance of automation documentation and help assist users with the maintenance of existing automated scripts. Lastly, you will create regression test cases for any applications that are not fully automated.  The bulk of what we do in LoadRunner is the TruClient protocol.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applicable application software quality assurance work experience.
• Programming mastery of LoadRunner v12.63, including but not limited to the TruClient protocol.
• Extensive experience with JavaScript, JSON, XML & xPath.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Ability to handle the performance testing for multiple applications at a time.
• Must have experience performance testing Webservices/REST Services/API's.
• Must be able to work closely with Application Teams and Test Architects to properly build a load scenario.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• College degree in information systems or a related field or the equivalent in related work experience.
