As a trusted partner, Converge Technology Solutions is helping our client identify, screen and secure a Manager, Data Analytics and Reporting to join their team as a full-time, permanent employee.  This is a hybrid position with initial onsite work in Atlanta (2-3 days a week). 

 

In this role, you will set the vision and strategy for Data as well as drive the reporting and visualization function for the organization. You will lead a team of professionals to propel the organization forward and ensure OKR (Objectives and Key Results) achievement. You will have the ability to drive insights by business unit as well as across the organization to help leaders make critical decisions. You must be a bridge-builder who drives execution and eliminates rework within the organization. Experience with offshore teams is critical to the success of this role.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and ensure accountabilities for all reporting, monthly round ups, and data visualization outcomes related to Business Unit performance.
  • Train, develop, coach, and evaluate the business insights team as well as matrix-dotted line team members
  • Work side by side with senior leadership to create innovative ways of looking at data and understanding how to improve the business
  • Drive the monthly operating review process
  • Systematize and standardize utilization of PowerBI and any other visualization tools
  • Provide options to major outcome initiatives and work with leaders to achieve the stated goals
  • Be innovative in how we utilize and display data for our teams and clients to make data-driven decisions
  • Build and maintain relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders to understand the business and prioritization
  • Participate in Strategic Services leadership activities and reporting

 

Job Requirements (including education)

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (industry experience may be substituted)
  • Demonstrated success visualizing business status for all levels of the organization
  • Snowflake query abilities
  • 3 - 5 years PowerBI or Tableau Experience
  • 5+ years of leadership experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and have a process improvement-oriented mindset
  • Superior presentation and presentation facilitation skills
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to effectively analyze & resolve issues
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and quality
    • Adaptable to feedback and requested changes
    • Honest, ethical and handles things in a confidential manner
    • Proficient with Google Suite and Internet applications
    • Ability to learn new software systems and direct team members
    • Results-oriented with ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification a plus but not required
  • Must be willing to conduct evening hand-off calls and morning transition calls with offshore teams.
