As a trusted partner, Converge Technology Solutions is helping our client identify, screen and secure a full-time Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join their team. This role is a 6+ month contract to hire W2 position with a flexible hybrid schedule with some onsite work in Alpharetta, Georgia.  This is NOT a 100% remote position, so out of area candidates will not be considered.
 

In this role, you will be a member of our client’s growing BI/DW team and take responsibility for developing and/or improving their existing leasing Business Intelligence platform, from data structures, dashboards, ETLs, and reports as well as ensure the delivery of quality solutions.  To be successful in this role, you should have solid experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence toolset, BI development lifecycles and be knowledgeable on Ralph Kimball concepts.  You should be comfortable exceling in a small agile, collaborative, dynamic and fast-paced environment. 
 

You will be responsible for supporting the transformation of business requirements into state-of-art business intelligence solutions. This includes hands on development of the application using Microsoft BI/DW technologies, as well as delivering solutions of which the data is consistent, available, and accurate and fit for reporting and analytics and ensures the quality of our BI products and deliverables. You will collaborate with other Bi developers to develop a robust solution, as well as constant communication with Product Management to meet/exceed users’ expectations.

Technical Skills

• Proven ability to write, tune and execute complex T-SQL queries

Proven experience with the data warehousing technologies, including:

• Relational Database and SQL language
• In-memory tabular model development using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
• Tabular query language (DAX)
• Report development using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Design easy-to-use PowerBI dashboards
• Advanced level in MS Excel and ability to manipulate data out of cubes using pivot tables

Additional Qualifications:

• BA or BS Degree (IT related area preferable)
• Presentation skills, with excellent ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels of the organization
• Experience bringing products from conception to implementation, including defining and communicating specifications, managing resources, leading cross-functional teams, and product launch
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative work environment
• Strong strategic skills along with execution and project management skills
• Occasional travel may be required
