As a trusted partner, Converge Technology Solutions is helping our client identify, screen and secure a full-time, 100% remote Senior Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Analyst for a Consulting assignment. To be successful in this position, you would have already performed IV&V work, as well as experience auditing product level software (app dev).
Functional Responsibilities
- Provide IV&V Consultant services during the specific timeframe (e.g., through solution implementation and Go-Live of the initial project phase, project start-up through completion of a key critical event, etc.)
- Evaluating assigned IT projects to determine application of industry best practices, assess project risks, and identify recommendations to optimize project performance
- Verifying products conforms to technical and non-technical requirements
- Make specific actionable recommendations to address any anomalies or findings reported
- Writing IV&V reports and presenting findings to client
- Participate on, or leads a team, conducting oversight and assessment activities for large-scale software development projects
Qualifications
- The IV&V Consultant must be knowledgeable and practiced in all aspects of information technology system development life-cycle (SDLC) processes
- The successful candidate has demonstrated their ability to deliver client business value as an IV&V Consultant by presenting findings and issues to technical and business stakeholders in a professional manner based on the facts through a data driven approach and without bias
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Self-Driven - actively looks for ways to contribute including testing code for large scale/availability / resiliency
- At least 5-10 years of IV&V experience on large, complex software development and systems implementation projects is helpful.
