As a trusted partner, Converge Technology Solutions is helping our client identify, screen and secure a full-time Scrum Master to join their team.  This can be a C2C/1099/W2 resource.  It is also 100% remote, as long as you sit within the US.

We are looking for an experienced and versatile scrum master to improve our information technology systems, process, and practices followed using agile principles. In this role, you will be responsible for managing one or more scrum teams and also act as a coach to the team to follow agile methodologies.  To ensure success as a scrum master, you should demonstrate experience and creativity in leading teams and collaboration across products.  

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and guide the scrum team to follow Agile and Scrum practices to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint
  • Facilitate the scrum process with the cross-functional teams that involve moderately complex projects, or maintenance work
  • Optimize scrum team velocity to identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance
  • Deliver capabilities using agile practices while also following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes as appropriate to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met
  • Facilitate the Scrum Agile ceremonies for the teams
  • Collaborate with product owners, program or project managers to communicate delivery of work product from the team and escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness
Requested Overall Skills
  • 5+ years of experience delivering complex enterprise projects/products/programs using agile methodology
  • 3-5+ years in formal Scrum Master role
  • Certified Scrum Master preferred
  • Ability to coach and lead teams transitioning to an agile approach
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication skills, active listening skills, and presence
  • Flexible, adaptable, and willing to roll up sleeves to help drive/contribute to team success
  • Past success delivering products/solutions on highly visible initiatives
  • Knowledge of relevant licensing and industry compliance regulations.
